The Family Giving Tree's target is to reach very low-income children from

ages 0 to 10 years of age who do not receive Holiday assistance through other programs. 

If you feel that your organization can help us reach our goal, we invite you to contact us. 

Please read below and follow instructions to complete your application process:

1.  Tell us who you are!

Send the following information to us:

• a copy of your 501(C) (3)
• any literature and/or brochure regarding your program and the specific needs of the participants
• complete contact information (Contact Name/Title, Phone Number, Email Address)

2.  Show us what you do!

We will arrange for a volunteer to visit your organization to conduct an Agency Interview.   We can use this time to get further details about your organization, learn about how our gifts will benefit your clients and speak with you about the services we provide.  This interview has been deemed by our Board of Directors as a mandatory requirement for all agencies.

3.  Make it official!

Submit your registration form to apply for a spot in our program.  This online form should be submitted by August and requires information such as complete contact info, number of gift recipients, etc.  You must read and agree to our Terms and Conditions before submitting this document, so please read over the application materials thoroughly. 

4.  Submit your wishes!

We will send you detailed instructions about how to collect and submit appropriate wishes for your clients once your application has been approved and processed; they will be due by October 15th, without exception.  These wishes will then be printed on colorful cards with the name, age, gender and wish of the children you serve.  Host companies display these cards, donors take the card and fulfill the wish and we collect them at our warehouse.  Any agency NOT on the waiting list can expect the pick up date assignment to fall between December 19th and December 21st.

Important Note:

The Family Giving Tree charges a fee of $1.00 per gift recipient.  This is a processing fee that helps spread the cost of collecting these gifts.  The actual cost of the program is almost $10 per child.  We request the agencies we serve to share this burden.  It is NOT O.K. for the families who recieve these gifts to pay the fee!  We are NOT selling gifts, agencies and families are NOT buying them.  If different people, such as teachers or group leaders, submit wishes please make sure that each person has received info about the processing fee, and instructions on how to collect wishes. Extensions can be made for paying registration fees but NOT for turning in the wishes – please do NOT delay submitting your wishes due to monetary concern.
