Holiday Warehouse Elves (in December only)

Help us receive, sort, wrap, quality check and distribute gifts to low-income children. For more information about what it means to volunteer at the Holiday warehouse, click here.

General Office Duties

Help us stamp and seal envelopes, organize materials and prep for upcoming drives. Great for students! Please, no drop-ins. Email Volunteers@familygivingtree.org to inquire!

Wish Editing (in October only)

Help us sort through our database of wishes! Email our Agency Coordinator or call (408) 946-3111 for more information or to schedule a time to come to our office to help.

Back-to-School Warehouse Elves (in August only):

Help us receive, sort, quality check and distribute backpacks to low-income children in August. For more information about what it means to volunteer at the BTS warehouse, click here.

Sign up for registered hosts begins June 15th and will be open to the public HERE on July 1st.

Warehouse Wish List

We need batteries! If you come to the warehouse or office to volunteer, would you consider bringing batteries (AA, C or D size)? For a complete list of things we need to help keep our programs running, check out our Wish List.

Catering for Warehouse Volunteers

Gold Rush Catering has been a long time supporter of the Family Giving Tree Holiday Wish Drive. Each year David and Esther (our Milk and Cookie Elves) set up a mini cafe in the warehouse lobby. Food and drinks are sold each day the warehouse is open, but if you'd like to place a special order for your volunteer group...click here!
