Who We Help

Family Giving Tree has cultivated deep roots in the community. We work with more than 300 social service agencies and schools around the Bay Area. Among the folks we work with are homeless shelters, community centers, rehabilitation houses, schools and various nonprofit organizations. Each year, these folks help us fulfill the needs of children in low-income neighborhoods. They supply us with the names and wishes of the children they serve year-round. These are kids who would go without anything during the holidays and back-to-school season.

Application Requirements - Join Our Community!

We’re always looking for Elves who want to help us meet the wishes of underserved children and ensure that their wishes are fulfilled and that they get the school supplies they need to succeed. Here’s what we need to know if you’re interested in joining our community as an agency partner:

1
Tell us who you are

Send a copy of your organization's 501c(3), program brochure, and complete contact information to us at 606 Valley Way, Milpitas CA 95035 or email agencies@familygivingtree.org

2
Show us what you do

We may arrange for a volunteer to visit your organization to conduct an “Agency Interview” to get further details about your organization and learn about how our gifts will benefit your clients.

3
Make it official

We will make a decision based on available space in our program and, if approved, you will be asked to submit a registration form online by May (for the Back to School Drive) or August (for the Holiday Wish Drive). A signed copy of our Terms and Conditions should be turned in at the same time.

4
Submit your wishes

Once your organization has been approved and entered into our database as a partnering agency or school, we will send you detailed instructions about how to collect and submit appropriate wishes for your clients. Any agency NOT on the waiting list can expect the pick up date assignment to fall between August 10th and August 20th for the Back to School Drive or December 19th and December 21st for the Holiday Wish Drive.
