Warehouse Volunteer Safety Policy
We respect everyone’s right to choose but our overarching goal is to make sure that we safely and successfully conduct and complete the 2021 Holiday Wish Drive.
In order to continue to protect our warehouse volunteers and Family Giving Tree staff, we have updated our COVID warehouse safety policy for the 2021 Holiday Wish Drive. We will require that you show your vaccination card or a negative COVID test result within 72 hours of your scheduled shift to enter the warehouse. This includes all children, regardless of age. Other safety measures that will be in place are a mask requirement for all workers (including children) and following physical distancing rules.

Public volunteer registration is full, but you can sign up for our waitlist.

Make Face Masks
In order to help keep the families, we serve safe during the coming winter months, we are asking for volunteers to make and donate masks for children and adults.  Please make sure that the mask design follows guidelines or follows an approved pattern and is size appropriate. Also, please be sure to label them 'adult' or 'child' in order that they can be accurately distributed to our recipients.

Make Holiday Cards
Write a Holiday Card! Donate a hand-written card for our 2021 Holiday Wish Drive recipients including children, adults, and seniors. Please follow the guidelines listed below and submit them before mid-December to allow time for processing. All cards submitted will all be vetted in order to make sure they can be given to our recipients.

Please take note of the following guidelines when creating cards:
- Stick to neutral greetings like "Happy Holidays," or "Season's Greetings."
- Keep in mind that our recipients consist of grades K-12, adults, and seniors whose current situations may include financial hardships and/or homelessness.
- If you can't find the words, draw it out!
- Refrain from including your personal information (last name, home, email address, social media, phone numbers.)
- Keep all messages positive! :)
- If your letter contains an envelope, DO NOT seal it as all cards will go through our screening process.
