The Family Giving Tree annual Back-to-School Drive launched in 1995 with the goal of helping close the educational gap for students falling behind in school simply because of their economic status.
In collaboration with corporate supporters like you, brand new backpacks filled with essential grade-appropriate school supplies are assembled, collected, and provided to partner schools throughout the Bay Area with a student enrollment of 75% or more designated by the California Department of Education as “socio-economically disadvantaged.”
